Session 8 – Corrie Hiwat

About
Corrie Hiwat is a practising homeopath since 1987.
She has been a teacher for many years at ‘The School of Homeopathy’ in the Netherlands.
Empathetic, non -judgemental and a well grounded central core is what defines her.
It is not surprising, therefore, that she has trained in Spiritual counselling for support for people facing traumatic and intractable situations. She has been a co-editor of many books as well as the “Homeopathic Links” which is an International Journal of Homeopathy.
She has been practicing classical homeopathy for 35 years.
She has taught for many years at the School for Homeopathy and abroad, focusing on case-taking, case-analysis and the methodology of homeopathy.
In 2018 she obtained a Master-degree at the University of Groningen in Spiritual and Religious Science. This has strengthened her understanding of the importance of the spiritual foundation of the patient, which is not necessarily religious. Spirituality plays a large role in the patients’ perception of themselves and their relation to life in general. Often, In early years experiences, unconscious and conscious traumas are founded in family systems that are highly influenced by religious or spiritual belief systems. From a dis-ease point of view, this frequently leads to feelings of shame, guilt, self-hatred, and a self-image of shortcoming and inadequacy within the patient. The combined study of homeopathy and religious science has enhanced her capacity to find healing within that realm.

Saturday, 10th of July 2021
8:30 PM IST | 11 am EDT | 8 AM PDT | 5 PM CEST
About
Dr. Michal Yakir, PhD, RCHom, former president of the Israeli Society for Classical Homeopathy (IACH) and her Journal editor, is the author of the book “Wondrous Order – systematic table of Homeopathic plant remedies”. She teaches homeopathy internationally, conveying her extensive homeopathic and botanic knowledge and experience in a clear, lively and inspirational style.
Being a botanist in the past, Dr. Yakir was fascinated by the homeopathic implication of the dynamic order in nature – especially in the plant kingdom! From her many years of rich experience as a homeopath, as well as her knowledge as a former botanist and ecologist, she has developed ‘The Homeopathic Table of Plants’. An approach (not a system) that make sense in all our plant Materia Medica, making it a practical and inspirational tool for homeopathic practitioners.
Her feminine approach to systematising homeopathy, using the evolutionary developmental stages of plants, demonstrate in a simple, natural way, the wondrous order that correlate the Flowering plants evolution to human developmental stages, to the challenges and obstacles of the ego’s developmental journey from birth to old age. During this journey, the lessons of feminine and masculine elements are learned and integrated. A journey toward an awareness and consciousness that are the birth rights of humanity – and our duty to earth.
Of late she has begun working on the ancient, non-flowering plants, finding them indeed talking of earth stages of evolution. The ancient plants are presenting us, humans, only as earth`s last stages of development toward consciousness, and they hide keys to healing of anything old, rigid and unchanged, to old age diseases but also connecting us to our ancestors. A preliminary view will be presented here.
Michal’s approach is a practical tool in daily practice and is successfully used by homeopaths worldwide.
